Q: How and where is it made?

All our pieces are made in India through a fibre-to-finish process that begins in artisan communities and comes together at our workshop in New Delhi. We work closely with Kala Khoj in Kachchh—a producer-owned organisation with 250 artisan members—where textiles are made slowly and by hand, often within artisan homes. Our cotton garments use handspun, handwoven cotton with a significantly lower carbon footprint, dyed with plant-based colours , and finished using craft techniques like smocking, painting, and tie-dyeing. Our silk pieces are made using mulberry silk from Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. The entire process is rooted in care and generational skill, with a majority of our value chain led by women and many artisans under the age of 35. Product Details

A classic 11.11/ eleven eleven double-breasted jacket, an ungendered statement piece crafted in 40s count handspun and handwoven fabric. The artwork is created using reclaimed fabrics in Kantha style, in circular and linear forms.

- Handmade in 100% cotton.

- Yarn handspun on a multi-spindle charkha, woven on a handloom, is also called ‘khadi’.

- The fabric is handwoven on a pit loom in Bengal.

- In keeping with the zero-waste principle, we at 11.11/eleven eleven collect leftover scraps of fabric after each garment is cut and stitched for our reclaimed accessories collection.

- All the scraps are segregated based on their colour, weight and texture.

- Medium Indigo is achieved through a blend of indigenous ingredients from the Indian landscape, including Indigo and myrobalan flower solutions.

- 30.12 inches / 77 cms is the length of the garment.

Wash Care for COTTON

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

Iron or steam with warm heat
Separately hand wash

NOTE: Colour bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colours stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time.

Shipment and Delivery

Shipping: Shipping in India is FREE.
The product will ship with in 20 to 30 days after reception of your paid order. Delivery: All order will be delivered via Blue dart (or equivalent) in 2 to 3 business days.

Return and Exchange

As a policy, we do not offer returns or exchanges on a made-to-order piece, but our customer care team would be happy to assist you for any product or size related concerns.
However, if the product is wrongfully delivered (product doesn’t match the item in the order confirmation) or has a genuine quality/manufacturing defect then we are open to extending full refund or re-fulfilling your order. Your item(s) must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and must also be in the original packaging.
