CHALK PINK BLOCK PRINTED AND SHIBORI COTTON SILK DRESS

An elemental over-sized calf-length dress. Made in cotton silk. Punctuated with an all-over pattern achieved through block printing with Indigo and then resisting through Shibori.

- 50% Silk 50% Cotton.

- Shibori is a tie-dye technique that uses running-stitches as a way to resist the design.

- Chalk pink is achieved through a blend of indigenous ingredients from The Indian landscape including Rubia, harda and alum solution.

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

• Iron or steam with warm heat
• Separately hand wash

NOTE: Colour bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colours stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time. It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.
