CHALK PINK SHIBORI KAFTAN DRESS

A Kaftan style dress crafted with shibori motifs, made in silk and cotton, dyed in chalk pink.

-50% Cotton & 50% Silk.

-Shibori is a tie-dye technique that uses running-stitches as a way to resist the design.

- Chalk pink is achieved through a blend of indigenous ingredients from The Indian landscape including Rubia, harda and alum solution.

- Faded story, the color has naturally aged in certain parts of the garment. The garment you will receive is exactly the same as the image.

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

• Iron or steam with warm heat
• Separately hand wash

NOTE: Colour bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colours stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time. It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.
