HANDSPUN COTTON DRESS WITH BANDHANI

Knee-length flared dress made in fine cotton with all over bandhani, and dyed in Turquoise color.

- 100% cotton.

- Kala cotton is indigenous to Kachchh and by default organic, as the farmers do not use any pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. It is a purely rain-fed crop that has a high tolerance for both disease and pests.

- Turquoise colour is achieved through a blend of indigenous ingredients from The Indian landscape including Indigo obtained from casitora and harda solution.

- Bandhani is a traditional tie and dye technique done in India.

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

• Iron or steam with warm heat
• Separately hand wash

NOTE: Colour bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colours stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time.
