KANTHA PATCHWORK BUTTON DOWN JACKET

This organic cotton button-down jacket is carefully crafted using pieces of leftover indigo cotton fabric from our studio, quilted together by kantha or running hand stitches.

- 100% cotton.

- Indigo fermentation involves creating conditions for microbiota to thrive

- it’s a collaboration with microbial communities. This bioprocess is similar to the making of yogurt, wine, kombucha, cheese, soy sauce & pickle.

- 24 inches / 60.9 cm is the length of the garment.

It is advisable to wash this garment separately and do not expose it to direct sunlight as it could lead to variation in colour.

• Iron or steam with warm heat
• Separately hand wash

NOTE: Indigo bleeding is normal in naturally dyed garments in the initial washes after which the colours stabilise. The fading and bleeding of the natural dyes result in graceful fades with the passage of time.
